How to Get the Most Out of Your Session

  • Arrive 10 minutes early to prepare for your session and maximize your time.

  • Sessions are 45 minutes maximum — listen to your body and step out if needed. Research shows benefits from 20-45 min at temperatures of 115-140 degrees F.

  • Hydrate well before, during, and after your session.

  • Mindfulness and moderation — benefits come from consistency, not overexposure.

  • After your session: let your body cool naturally for 30–60 minutes before showering at home to extend relaxation, recovery, and detoxification.

FAQ

How does infrared heat work?

Infrared saunas use gentle light from the electromagnetic spectrum to warm your body directly, rather than just heating the air around you. Because the heat penetrates your muscles and tissues, the sauna can be kept at a much more comfortable temperature than the higher, humid heat of steam or wet saunas. This creates a soothing, full-body experience that supports relaxation, circulation, and detoxification.

What should I wear?
Light, comfortable clothing, a sports bra and underwear, or a swimsuit.

Do I need to bring anything?
#1 is WATER! Staying hydrated before, during, and after your session is key. You may choose to bring your own towel but we also provide towels.

Is the sauna right for me?
Infrared heat is safe and beneficial for most people — but it’s important to listen to your body and know when to check with your doctor first.

You should avoid or get medical clearance before using the sauna if you:

  • Are pregnant or may be pregnant

  • Have a heart condition, pacemaker, or cardiovascular disease

  • Have chronic respiratory issues

  • Take medications that affect sweating, heart rate, or body temperature regulation

  • Have recently had surgery or open wounds

  • Have metal implants or silicone prosthetics that could heat up

  • Experience heat sensitivity, dizziness, or fainting

  • Have a fever, infection, or inflammation

  • Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs

If you’re new to infrared heat, start with a Warm Escape session (115–125°F) for 20–30 minutes and build gradually. Always drink plenty of water and exit the sauna if you feel lightheaded or uncomfortable.

Can I shower afterward?
We don’t have showers onsite — and that’s okay! Letting your body cool naturally for 30–60 minutes allows the benefits of your session to continue.

Can I come with a friend?
Yes! Choose the add-on option for an Additional Person when you book your session. You’ll each get your own towels and full sauna time together. One person will book the appointment but the accompanying friend should also REGISTER for an account in order to sign the Liability Waiver in advance.

How often should I use the sauna?
Research suggests benefits from 2–4 sessions per week. Consistency is key — find what feels best for your body and schedule.

What if I need to leave early?
That’s completely fine. Sessions are up to 45 minutes, but you can exit anytime — it’s important to listen to your body.

How hot does the sauna get?
Warm Escape sessions start about 115–125°F and will continue to heat up to ~135-140°F by the end of the session. The Deep Heat sessions start out at 130–140°F and can be adjusted as needed. The max temperature of the sauna is 150
°F.

Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes, you'll sign a waiver online when creating your Mindbody account. This is required for your first visit to ensure safety and understanding of sauna use.

Come sweat with us! Recharging is part of the work.

Sauna Appointment Cancellation Policy

To keep things running smoothly and respectful for everyone, please review our sauna cancellation guidelines below.

Early Cancellations

If you need to cancel, please do so at least 12 hours before your scheduled session.

  • Early cancellations receive full credit back to your account or can be easily rescheduled.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before your appointment are considered late and will be charged in full. If you miss your appointment without canceling, it will be treated as a no-show and charged in full.

  • Because the sauna preheats for your session, this time and energy are already set aside just for you. Late cancellations also make it difficult for others to book that time, since there may not be enough notice to fill the spot.

  • One late cancellation per client per quarter may be waived with notice — no-shows are always charged.

Running Late?

Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to prepare and enjoy your full 45-minute session.
If you’re running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your session will still end at the originally scheduled time out of respect for the next guest.

Life Happens

We understand that unexpected things come up. If there’s an emergency or illness, please reach out so we can handle it with care and fairness.
