Be prepared for your upcoming Virtual Classes by getting your equipment ready in advance! You can use alternatives for much of the suggested equipment (see list below).

StepIt could be done without a step, with a rectangle rug as a placer.

Alternative Equipment

You can still get a great workout at home WITHOUT all of the listed equipment or by using alternate items. 

  1. Yoga Mat - blanket, towel, or carpet

  2. Bar - couch or chair for balancing

  3. Weights - water bottles, canned goods, milk jugs, bags of beans/rice, books

  4. Resistance bands - weighted item instead

  5. Ball - folded blanket, pillow, couch cushion

  6. Yoga blocks - books, folded blanket/towel, pillow, cushion

  7. Yoga strap - robe tie, neck tie

  8. Step - no step, rectangular rug (safety and stability are of top priority…it would be better to use no step than to use an alternative that isn’t designed for this exercise)
